The plot of All The Rage is scary, terrifying and made me absolutely furious. Cara Hunter has such a readable writing style it’s so easy to get drawn in: I couldn’t sleep one night so started this and had read 20% before I even looked up. As a bonus, Fawley frequently has funny lines that make me laugh out loud. I love the DI Adam Fawley series, literally everything about it: each one is clever, original, thrilling and twisted. Is she hiding something, and if so, what? And why does Fawley keep getting the feeling he’s seen a case like this before?Īnd then another girl disappears, and Adam no longer has a choice: he has to face up to his past. Because unless he does, this victim may not be coming back. Yet she refuses to press charges.ĭI Fawley investigates, but there’s little he can do without the girl’s co-operation. Grabbed off the street, a plastic bag pulled over her face, then driven to an isolated location where she was subjected to what sounds like an assault. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can during these unusual times ❤ Lockdown has allowed me to catch up with some reading but I have been a bit slower at reviewing so I want to remedy that now with my…Ī teenage girl is found wandering the outskirts of Oxford, dazed and distressed.
